Liberals, Conservatives woo parents; NDP reaches out to low-income families

The two front-runners in the federal election campaign kept up their courtship with young families Tuesday - the Liberals promised more money to help take care of young kids, while the Conservatives offered to help them save for college. NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh had a different demographic in mind while visiting a prized Liberal riding in Ottawa - he promised 500,000 new affordable housing units over the next 10 years.
