SOUNDBITE (English) Tricia Tuttle, BFI London Film Festival Director PART OVERLAID WITH B-ROLL"One of the things that's so great this year is that we're delivering the same festival model that we did last year, so really building on it. So we're back in London and we're back at the Royal Festival Hall, the BFI Southbank. That's the sort of cultural heart of the festival where all of our galas and special presentations are going to be. And then we're at ten venues around the UK."ASSOCIATED PRESSLondon, 5 October 20224. Close of "Matilda" premiere signageASSOCIATED PRESSLondon, 29 September 20225. SOUNDBITE (English) Tricia Tuttle, BFI London Film Festival Director "This year really excited about opening with a family film with Roald Dahl's 'Matilda the Musical.' We've not opened with a family film in a decade, so that's going to be great. And I think people are really, genuinely excited about bringing the young people in their lives. It's such a joyous way to open the festival as well too. While it is a family film, it plays really well to everyone."SONY PICTURES RELEASING6. SOUNDBITE (English) Tricia Tuttle, BFI London Film Festival Director "One of the features of the festival that there is something for everyone, but that that awards moment is a big feature of London Film Festival. We are part of that corridor of films launching into the autumn window, so we always get this fantastic red carpet talent coming through."NETFLIX8. Trailer clip - "Pinocchio"ASSOCIATED PRESSLondon, 29 September 20229. SOUNDBITE (English) Tricia Tuttle, BFI London Film Festival Director "Some of the bigger world premieres that we are looking forward to presenting this year are Guillermo Del Toro's 'Pinocchio,' which is screening on the second weekend of the festival. Expecting Cate Blanchett to come along and also Christoph Waltz to come with Guillermo. We also are screening something very, very different, which is Creature, a collaboration between Asif Kapadia and Akram Khan, the choreographer. And the world premiere is sort of, you know, there's a range of work from around the world, screening in the festival."AP VIDEO SHOT BY: Martina Inchingolo/Steve PollockPRODUCTION: Sian Watson===========================================================Clients are reminded: (i) to check the terms of their licence agreements for use of content outside news programming and that further advice and assistance can be obtained from the AP Archive on: Tel +44 (0) 20 7482 7482 Email: info@aparchive.com(ii) they should check with the applicable collecting society in their Territory regarding the clearance of any sound recording or performance included within the AP Television News service (iii) they have editorial responsibility for the use of all and any content included within the AP Television News service and for libel, privacy, compliance and third party rights applicable to their Territory.
