Bourdain trolls Canada's tourism board, praises "Frenchies"

Chef Anthony Bourdain is pushing back on Twitter about another part of his controversial Newfoundland and Labrador episode Bourdain's show "Parts Unknown" recently aired an episode about the province. He credited two Quebec chefs, who he called "Frenchies," with bringing his show to the province. He said David McMillan and Fred Morin were relentless advocates of Newfoundland. Bourdain added that the government's tourism office has done a poor job promoting Canada in comparison. This kerfuffle comes after the show took heat for using the term "Newfie" in a tweet to describe people from Newfoundland. People called out the tweet for using a term considered "offensive" by some in the province.
