Calgary Zoo aims to prevent extinction

The Canadian Press gets a tour of Calgary Zoo’s wildlife conservation centre, which deals with endangered species. The centre, which is operated by the Calgary Zoo and opened in 1984, is dedicated to saving endangered species, including the Prezewalski wild horse which is native to Mongolia, Vancouver Island marmots, burrowing owls, the greater sage-grouse and the whooping crane.
