Canada unveils national standards for long-term care
Ottawa has laid out new standards for Canada’s long-term care facilities in response to the thousands of deaths in the facilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. But advocates worry the voluntary guidelines won’t have the teeth to protect vulnerable residents.
