Feds contribute $500M to major investment in Toronto’s Bloor-Yonge subway station
All three levels of government announced a major investment in Toronto’s Bloor-Yonge subway station on Friday, with the federal government contributing $500 million and the Ontario government investing nearly $450 million. Toronto Mayor John Tory said the expanded station would accommodate up to 400,000 people.
