Fox Lake Cree Nation’s fight for land
Most of Fox Lake Cree Nation's home territory has never been made a reserve by the federal government, despite treaty agreements, which led to community members being displaced from their homes as hydro dams were built in the 1960s. After decades of waiting and negotiating, Fox Lake says it's time for Canada to settle.
