Newly discovered asteroid to make extremely close encounter with Earth
An asteroid is expected to fly by Earth in the evening of January 26, making one of the closest approaches of a near-Earth object ever recorded. Asteroid 2023 BU was discovered on January 21 and is estimated to be the size of a delivery truck.
