Russia adopts harsh anti-LGBTQ legislation
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a new law which makes it illegal to talk about or promote LGBTQ relationships or transgender rights. Some LGBTQ advocates fear it could trigger violence against an already marginalized community in Russia.
