Saskatchewan to expand window between COVID-19 vaccine doses to 4 months

Saskatchewan Health Authority CEO Scott Livingstone explained Thursday that the province would join other provincial jurisdictions in expanding the window between COVID-19 vaccine doses to four months, adding that there is “increasingly strong” evidence that first doses offer significant protection against the virus. He said cases in long-term care homes have plummeted “dramatically” since vaccinations began.
