Ant McPartlin and his estranged wife Lisa Armstrong will still be working together on Britain's Got Talent despite the pair's shock decision to divorce following 11 years of marriage.

Lisa, who is a make-up artist, will continue to be working exclusively on the ITV2 spin-off Britain's Got More Talent, while Ant will be returning to host the main show alongside Dec.

It's thought that the pair will be in the studios at different times while Lisa, who is also chief make-up artist on Strictly Come Dancing, works with spin-off show host Stephen Mulhern as she has done in previous years.

They added to The Sun: "They are all keen to keep things civilised with Ant. It should certainly mean less awkward encounters.”

Over the weekend Ant, who has admitted he is to blame for the break down of their marraige, announced that he was filing for divorce.

“Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families. No further statement will be made.”

Earlier this week BGT auditions kicked off in Blackpool ahead of the show's return to TV later this year.

Ant, Dec and judges Simon Cowell , David Walliams , Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden all posed for pictures at the auditions.

She returned to social media to share a picture of their beloved dog Hurley - who they're both expected to fight over in court.

Sharing a gorgeous shot of their pet taken by photographer Harry Page, she wrote: "My baby boy and his #furryfam."

The couple were together for 23 years after meeting at a Smash Hits concert in Newcastle in the mid-90s.
