Amir Khan's pregnant wife Faryal Makhdoom has told fans that the couple reconciled because their love is real.

Taking to Instagram, the 26-year-old American-Pakistani model shared a snap of the pair side by side and posing with the gushing message: "If it's real they'll find you no matter how far you go."

Scores of her 824K immediately took to her comments section to offer messages of support and congratulate her on managing to save her marriage.

"I have no idea y i am so happy but may Allah keep u both happy together," one person said while another wrote: "If you love someone so badly, you have to make it work, you run after them, don't run away like some ppl do... good luck to both of you."

Makhdoom and Khan became embroiled in a bitter public row after Khan sensationally announced that his marriage was over, claiming his partner had enjoyed a secret rendezvous with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.

Despite his wife being pregnant with the couple's second child, Khan insisted that he planned on going through with the divorce in a series of tweets that left Makhdoom "humiliated".

"Thanks to Faryal for clearing up the accusations she had made about my family in the past which were false," he said.

He added: "Unfortunately it didn't work out between Me and Faryal and we are still going ahead with the divorce. We are in good talking terms. We have to think about our daughter Lamaisah who I will always be there for. I wish Faryal all the very best for the future."

But on Saturday (10 November) he shared a snap of him cuddled up on the sofa with his wife wearing loungewear, confirming that they were giving their marriage another go. The caption read: ''With my 4 month pregnant wife, after sorting out all the issues. Closing the year with a happy ending @faryalmakhdoom.''

Hours later Khan confirmed his appearance in the latest series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here!!

When The Sun caught up with the Bolton-born boxer on his arrival at Brisbane airport, he revealed that he had headed down Under to "stay out of trouble".

"I'll be training while I'm here. I'll probably go for nice jogs and try to keep out of trouble," he said."I want to fight three times next year.

Asked whether his stint on the reality show would impact his career he said he remained focused on his imminent comeback. "I dunno about that but king of the ring suits me better. I want to fight three times in 2018, starting in February, then again just before Ramadan."
