Kylie Jenner, 20, is on track to become the youngest 'self-made' billionaire in America thanks to her ever-growing beauty empire, according to Forbes magazine.

The Lip Kit mogul launched her cosmetics company in 2016 with $29 sets containing matching lipstick and lip liner, and has since sold more than $630 million worth of makeup.

a close up of a person © Provided by Credits: Forbes Forbes said it valued her company at nearly $800 million and that Kylie owns 100 percent of it.

Adding millions from TV shows, endorsements and after-tax dividends from her company, Forbes said Kylie was "conservatively" worth $900 million.

Another year of growth would make her the youngest-self made billionaire ever, male or female, the magazine said.

However, not everyone agreed with the 'self-made' description.

Even Dictionary.com waded in, tweeting: "Self-made means having succeeded in life unaided.

"Used in a sentence: Forbes says that Kylie Jenner is a self-made woman." 

Kylie first grabbed the spotlight as part of the Keeping Up with the Kardashians reality TV show with her mum Kris Jenner and her siblings.

Forbes estimated that Kim Kardashian, who has her own cosmetics, clothing and mobile games lines, is worth $350 million.

"Social media is an amazing platform," she said. "I have such easy access to my fans and my customers."

Just days earlier Kylie revealed she had some of her lip filler removed.

She was showing off her natural, deflated pout on Instagram, when one fan commented, "she looks like the old Kylie here idk why."

"I got rid of all my filler," replied.

"Ohh my goddd kylie you look so beautiful the way you originally are now don’t change you are sooo gorgeous with the natural you yassss slay," gushed another.

Together they're worth $71 billion - $9.5 billion more than the combined wealth of the 2017 list. A record 24 women are billionaires on this year's list. To determine the ranking, Forbes took into account stakes in public and private companies, real estate holdings, and other assets including art, jewelry, cars, and planes. All net worth estimates are current as of June 22, 2018. Taylor Swift rounds out the list this year at No. 60, with an estimated net worth of $320 million. That's $60 million more than the minimum net worth required to make the list in 2017.
