Mel B has debuted her new glamorous makeover as part of a ‘new life’ without ex-husband Stephen Belafonte.

The 42-year-old sported a youthful look in a mysterious Instagram post, in which she’s wearing a tailored leopard print jacket, blue skinny jeans and over-the-knee grey boots.

The TV personality’s face appeared to be fresh and fully glammed with a soft pink lip and a brand new ombre hair do, fading from light brown to blonde and differing dramatically from her previous all over dark hair.

Brown captioned the photo: “It’s a new dawn It's a new day It's a new hair It's a new life For meeeeeee yasssss And I'm feeling good I'm feeling good #timesup.”

The photo raised speculation as it included the Times Up campaign hashtag, which stands up for women who have suffered sexual harassment following the #MeToo effect.

The image follows a series of court battles between Brown and her now ex-husband, Stephen Belafonte.

In January earlier this year, Los Angeles Superior Court judge finally granted Brown and Belafonte a divorce judgement.

Brown has agreed to pay Belafonte’s $200,000 (around £148,000) in legal fees by February 8 and both will split the proceeds from the sale of the businesses they started during their marriage.

The judge ruled that Belafonte will get parental custody on alternate weekends and on Wednesdays.

Brown filed for divorce in early 2017, citing 'irreconcilable differences' and claimed domestic abuse before becoming trapped in a bitter custody battle over their six-year-old daughter Madison.

Brown’s support for the Times Up campaign follows a wave of support from women in the entertainment industry who all wore black to Sunday’s Golden Globes ceremony, in a bid to raise awareness against sexual harassment.

Stars backing the cause included, actresses Penelope Cruz and Margot Robbie and singer Mariah Carey.
