The 40-year-old singer – who previously dated bandmate Hannah Spearritt – won the Best Newcomer award with the rest of the group back in 2002.

Paul posted a link to his eBay page on Twitter, writing the caption: 'Check out Brit Award Best Newcomer Presented To Paul Cattermole S Club 7. Thanks for all the interest peeps.'

And I'm not in mid rehearsals to play a 60 year old scientist.'

Paul's listed the gong as in 'very good condition', and with 4 days of biding yet to go, he's currently being offered £9,500.00 for the award.

Which is not too shoddy. But it's also not a quite a £1million, which is what Abz is said to have made when he flogged his Brit back in 2015.

Abz started the listing at 99p, and told PA at the time (via The Independent): 'Oh my God – I don't know what to say. It has to be a hoax – it can't be real.

'I don't need a million quid! I feel-light headed. All I needed was a bit of top soil and its gone nuts. I better get in touch with eBay – that's a lot of soil!'

Meanwhile, Paul added that his statuette 'hasn't been professionally polished, there are smudges that won't come out without a pro polish'.

'There are signs of age. Where the arms meet the shoulders at the back, and where the neck and chest blend into the top of the dress.

'An indentation on the inside of the helmet. That is a casting bubble and has always been there.'

He's also selling his Presentation Platinum Sales award, which is yet to receive a bid.
