Tom Sizemore was allegedly removed from a film production in 2003, after violating an 11-year-old girl.

The Saving Private Ryan star is said to have touched the child's genitals, but her parents opted against pressing charges and he was later allowed back onto the set.

Sizemore's alleged misconduct has been detailed in an explosive Hollywood Reporter article, in which the actor's agent gave a position of "no comment".

The child at the centre of the allegation is now aged 26 and also didn't want to comment in the publication, but did say she'd recently hired a lawyer to explore legal action against the actor, as well as her parents.

The Hollywood Reporter claims to have spoken to a dozen people involved in making the film Born Killers, released in 2005, who confirmed he was sent home over the incident.

The 55-year-old actor is said to have battled drug addiction since he was 15, and has been convicted of domestic violence and drugs charges.

Sizemore's other film roles include Born on the Fourth of July, True Romance, Natural Born Killers, Heat, Black Hawk Down and Pearl Harbor.
