Black Eyed Peas man will.i.am is usually a source of great fun and charisma, but tonight (March 16) he managed to completely divide The Voice UK fans.

With this year's Knockout round commencing, the pressure was on for everybody involved tonight, including the judging panel.

Boyband NXTGEN and two solo singers were in contention for Will's semi-final vote tonight, and the American musician had the unenviable task of sending home two incredibly gifted acts – and sadly Callum and Gabriel didn't make it through.

Was the trio the best of Will's bunch?

However, another section of Will's fanbase were clearly in agreement with his decision tonight, as many Twitter users celebrated NXTGEN's success.

Although Will's two other acts were booted out of the competition, there's still some sunlight on the horizon for Callum and Gabriel.

After the second Knockout show on Saturday, March 23, voting will open via the official app and will close at 11.30pm that evening.

Perhaps it's not too late for either Callum or Gabriel, and Will's decision could in fact be overturned.

The Voice UK is back next Saturday (March 23) on ITV at 7:30pm.
