Public Enemy

The American group is known for their critical songs on politics and the media, and focus on the African-American community’s concerns. Chuck D, Flavor Flav and Professor Griff were some of the original members. They were instrumental in bringing rap metal to the fore in collaboration with the bands “Living Colour” and “Anthrax.” After their debut album “Yo! Bum Rush the Snow” in 1987, they went on to produce more classics like “Fear of a Black Planet,” “Apocalypse 91… The Enemy Strikes Back” and “Greatest Misses.”
