Star Trek is assimilating its 2021 advent calendar.

The iconic sci-fi franchise is turning to the dark side this festive season for an advent calendar designed to look just like the Cube ship used by the Borg alien race.

Any Stark Trek fan knows that a Borg Cube on the radar means serious trouble for the Federation because the cybernetic alien race will stop at nothing to conquer and assimilate their enemies.

This Borg Cube features 24 Trek gifts behind windows designed to look like the terrifying ship from which it draws its inspiration.

Gifts included in this set will be coasters modelled on the console designs from Star Trek: The Original Series as well as Enterprise-D socks!

There's even an espresso cup celebrating the first-ever warp speed flight – which humanity can expect in 2063. Add that one to your calendar!

While the Borg could be coming to a festive display near you this year, they will also play an important role in the second season of Star Trek: Picard in February 2022.

A recent trailer featured The Borg Queen as part of a time-travelling plot where Jean-Luc Picard and his allies must correct a historical anomaly that turned the Federation into a fascist organisation.

Star Trek: Picard airs on Paramount+ in the US and Amazon Prime Video internationally, including the UK, while Star Trek: Discovery airs on Paramount+ in the US and Netflix internationally, including the UK.
