Sarah Harding has made her debut as a solo performer.

The Girls Aloud singer took to the stage alone at the Street Child fifth anniversary party in London, reported Mail Online.

She wowed on the red carpet by flashing plenty of flesh in a black and silver sparkly dress, which had a sheer skirt and arms.

Sarah confessed to battling the nerves ahead of her first solo gig, admitting: "I'm really worried about forgetting my lyrics for the Girls Aloud tracks I'm doing. There are some parts where I think, 'S***, what is that bit? That was Kimberley's part'."

And on the morning of the show, she revealed on Twitter that she couldn't sleep the night before.

The 32-year-old also said she had been preparing for the show at Kensington Palace by working out while singing her own tracks.

"I have been working out a lot but I make sure I sing at the same time. I go on the cross trainer for 30 minutes a day and belt out all my songs. My neighbours must think I'm bonkers," she said.

"I know Beyonce's dad used to make her run down the beach singing her songs with her heels on, so if it can work for her..."
