Professor Green has postponed his tour for a second time as a result of his "wonderfully colourful day to day life".

The rapper, who was banned from driving for a year and ordered to pay a £525 fine and costs for drink-driving, has pulled the 12-date series of gigs which had been due to begin next month.

Announcing the postponement, he also blasted what he called "silly billy bully boys" who were involved in his arrest for perverting the course of justice as part of the investigation into the driving offence, although he was not charged.

Green, whose real name is Stephen Manderson, was banned last month after he admitted driving while over the limit, claiming he had been pursuing a thief who had had taken his Rolex watch when he and his Made In Chelsea star wife Millie Mackintosh were confronted outside their home in Lewisham, south London.

The court heard how he was arrested for the further alleged offence over doubts about his story, but there have been no charges.

Tour promoters said the ups and downs of Green's life had led to a delay to his forthcoming album's release and " from a professional position the only decision was to move the tour to later this year".

It will now take place in November and December. The tour had been due to take place in November of last year but was put back after he had been involved in a car accident which caused delays to his album.

Green said today: " The last 18 months have been mental, turbulent, up and down, round and round, amazing, horrible, happy, sad, frustrating, testing, trying and above all incredibly f***ing stressful.

"I wanted an album out last October but as most of you are aware a lot has happened in my wonderfully colourful day to day life.

"I got hit by a car, got married and then had my life turned upside down by an entirely unfounded arrest for something which I was subsequently not charged. A waste of time. Silly billy bully boys."

He said the album was now finished and told fans: " You lot have been there the whole way and I can't wait to get this album out for you all to hear and to get back on stage without a gammy knee or a looming bail date.

"That said I'm not gonna come out and perform the same set I have been since the last album, it wouldn't be fair to you - at least not until I'm doing a greatest hits tour when I'm on my third marriage, have 12 kids and a huge tax bill."
