The Rolling Stones have unveiled their rescheduled tour around Australia and New Zealand.

The British rockers, who postponed their dates Down Under following the death of Sir Mick Jagger's partner L'Wren Scott in March, have also added two extra shows - in Perth and the Hunter Valley - to their 14 On Fire run.

The Stones, who had previously planned their tour in March and April, will restart their Antipodean shows at the Adelaide Oval on October 25, and close the tour at Auckland's Mt Smart Stadium in New Zealand on November 22, reported Billboard.

The new dates come eight years after their last tour. They performed four shows during their A Bigger Bang run in 2006.

Tickets for those original shows will remain valid for the new shows, and their location within the venue will remain unchanged.

The Stones - Mick, Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards and Charlie Watts - will resume their tour in Norway on May 26. They will also play a headline slot at Roskilde festival in Denmark on July 3, along with Pinkpop festival in Holland.
