Emmerdale's Dawn Taylor reacts angrily tonight (April 15) as she comes under suspicion in Harriet Finch's stalker mystery again.

Dawn (Olivia Bromley) finds herself in the frame when Bob Hope spots her behaving strangely at the pub, just as Harriet is being targeted by her unknown enemy.

Monday's episode sees Harriet left spooked when she receives prank phone calls at home, on her mobile phone and even at the church.

The mystery culprit breathes heavily down the line each time but says nothing, clearly wanting to scare Harriet.

As the calls continue to come in thick and fast, Harriet confides in Bob (Tony Audenshaw) and Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) about the sinister activity.

When Harriet receives one call just as Bob spots Dawn looking shifty on her phone outside the pub toilets, he's convinced that she has something to hide.

Unwilling to keep this to himself, Bob angrily accuses Dawn despite Harriet's protests that she fully trusts her. How will Dawn react to the allegations?

Katherine Dow Blyton, who plays Harriet, recently explained: "It's very unnerving when the calls start – to hear somebody breathing and not speaking. All of these things happening together are compounding the fact that this might not just be a one-off event.

"Bob puts two and two together and makes six. He sees Dawn on the phone while Harriet gets a phone call. Because Dawn has got a past, she hasn't been a model citizen previously. She's a former prostitute and heroin addict, so the villagers don't always give her a fair trial.

"Bob cares about Harriet and they've got a good history together. He immediately thinks he's protecting Harriet by asking whether she's thought about it being Dawn.

"Harriet absolutely defends Dawn to the hilt, because they've become very close and they're trying to get over what happened in the past. Harriet is very supportive and protective of Dawn and certainly doesn't want her to feel that she's being victimised in the village."

Emmerdale airs tonight at 7pm on ITV.
