An Interview with Blake Hazard

We recently had the marvelous Blake Hazard in for a Baes + Brews session last month and when she arrived, she brought a mysterious little guest with her: her Silvertone amp. What made it so mysterious was its appearance - it looked like a guitar case but you'd open it up and suddenly it was an amp with knobs to control the tremolo and volume. "The mystery amp does not actually belong to me. It actually belongs to my friend Sam Cohen, who is amazing, and he let me borrow it while I was in New York because you can take it on the train ... It has a really cool tone and vintage sound," Hazard explained before moving onto the spread of pedals she uses. It's no doubt this amp from the sixties is unique, and it looks pretty ideal for any touring musician who is looking for a convenient travel buddy.
