Melania Trump makes first comments on Capitol Hill riot
In a statement released Monday morning, first lady Melania Trump expressed her condolences for lives lost in last week’s Capitol riot, saying she was disappointed and disheartened. She condemned the violence and called for calm. NBC chief White House correspondent Kristen Welker reports for TODAY.
