Dancing On Ice judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean have teased the competitive celebrities ahead of the show launch.

The ITV celebrity skating competition returns to our screens on Sunday evening.

On Wednesday night, the legendary skating duo appeared on The One Show and the topic turned to who the more competitive celebs will be in the 2021 run.

Presenter Alex Jones tipped Jason Donovan to do well noting: "He did Strictly the same year as me and he is super competitive, really, really competitive. Very competitive."

However, Jane and Christopher noted that there are a few to keep their eye on.

Jayne revealed: "Well yeah it’s like naming your favourite children isn’t it? To be honest it is too soon.

"We obviously saw potential in quite a few of them at the boot camp but at this stage they have gone away and trained and had longer than normal to get to the first show so we’re hoping for really good things but it’s so hard to tell until that first show that’s why we are so excited to see them on Sunday."

Alex's co-presenter Amol Rajan, however, gave his own tips or the most competitive.

He noted: "I'm going to stick my neck out I think it is Myleene [Klass], Colin Jackson and Jason Donovan …and Denise van Outen."

Alex then added: "Oh yes, Denise is brilliant. And also Jason Donovan - he did Strictly the same year as me and he is super competitive, really, really competitive. Very competitive."

After this, a diplomatic Chris responded: "I think all of them are competitive, they all want to win."
