The 53-year-old even put out a call for contestants on his Twitter page where he urged those with the next "big, bold and exciting food or drink business idea" to sign up.

Elaborating on his involvement in the show, Ramsay said in a video: "I'm investing my time, my money to take the next product, app, food truck or something completely new to the next level and you don't even need to be a chef.

"Your business may be in development. That's how exciting this new series is."

He went on to add he was seeking contestants with "passion, drive and very strong work ethic". The programme is due to feature 12 participants in total.

Ramsay has plenty of television experience on UK television with the series Hell's Kitchen, The F Word, and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares under his belt.

Outside of his career, there was good news for Ramsay in his personal life last year as he welcomed another child with wife Tana Ramsay.

Although, he admitted he "fainted like an idiot" when the tot, Oscar, was born in April 2019.

His birth came after the couple, who are already parents to Megan, Holly, Jack, Matilda, suffered a miscarriage in 2016.
