Ian Wright's tendency to have a bit of a moan hasn't won him many fans on I'm a Celebrity, but viewers couldn't help but feel sorry for him during the latest Bushtucker Trial.

In tonight's episode (December 1), Ian joined Ant and Dec in the trial Hell-Evator, where he was taken to three different levels of a secret bunker. Each time it stopped on one of the levels, Ian had to get out and search for stars.

Dec added that there was a set amount of time on each section to find the stars. And once he found them all, he had to get back in the lift and go to another level.

The three separate rooms contained snakes, toads and crocodiles respectively, but the real issue Ian had with the challenge was how tight the knots were on the strings the stars were attached to.

He managed to collect a respectable seven out of 11 stars for camp, but he was far from satisfied. Throughout the trial, he lost a large chunk of his time trying to untie the knots, some of which he claimed couldn't be undone.

And he certainly had some sympathy from those watching at home, with one viewer tweeting: "Feel sorry for Ian as he could have 100% got more stars but those knots were way too tight!"

Another wrote: "All those knots on the strings holding the stars made that trial ridiculously difficult. Feel sorry for Ian!"

I'm a Celebrity airs nightly at 9pm on ITV.
