As always, Richard Ayoade ventured into the Maze during Thursday's episode with a brand new team of celebrities - albeit a group with quite a few existing ties, unlike in previous weeks.

Anchoring the squad were Loose Women Andrea McLean and Stacey Solomon, and they brought along Stacey's boyfriend Joe Swash for what mostly turned out to be moral support. (Sorry Joe!)

Bringing up the rear, not literally, were royal brother-in-law and Made in Chelsea fave Spencer Matthews as well as comedian and radio presenter Tom Allen.

Okay, enough with the formalities. Let the four winds blow as another crop of celebrities make their way into… The Crystal Maze!

Here we go!

Jessica Hynes' Knight was back to charm us (but not Richard Ayoade) once again:

Heading into the second zone (Aztec), the team had managed to win NO crystals:

Oh Joe. How dare you convince the team to leave your girlfriend Stacey locked into the Aztec Zone after her failed challenge?!

Thankfully, Tom Allen and Spenny Matthews showed a bit more chivalry in getting Stacey back in the game... at the cost of their only crystal.

Richard dealt the teams some hard truth mid-way through their crystal-less voyage.

CanStaceyactually tell time? Let's find out together:

Phew, Stacey successfully set the clocks straight. But let's see how Andrea copes with a science challenge from Adam Buxton's Jarhead, whose name says it all.

The team ultimately earned 15 seconds in The Crystal Dome (thanks to being given a 'freebie crystal'). When all was said and done, they'd still managed a respectable £10,000 for Stand Up to Cancer.

Yet another LOL-worthy trip through the four zones this week, and quite a lot raised for Stand Up to Cancer along the way. Well done, team!

The Crystal Maze will be back soon on Channel 4. In the meantime, let the waiting commence!
