Lorraine Kelly is taking an extended hiatus from her ITV series... but the show must go on!

The presenter is jetting off for three weeks to celebrate her and husband Steve Smith's 25th wedding anniversary by retracing explorer Sir Ernest Shackleton's voyage from the South Antarctic to South Georgia.

It's apparently been a lifelong dream for Lorraine to take this trip, so we say Happy Anniversary! Back at home, the chatshow will continue with help from two major guest hosts.

First, Helen Skelton will once again fill in for the week of Monday, February 20 in her last presenting gig before she has her baby. She last filled in for Lorraine back in October and was seemingly a big hit with the crew.

For the final two weeks of Kelly's sea-faring holiday, The One Show and Dancing on Ice veteran Christine Lampard will be dropping by to keep Lorraine afloat beginning on Monday, February 27.

Christine definitely has experience guest hosting from her numerous appearances on This Morning to fill in for Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

"I'm excited to be fronting the show for a couple of weeks," Christine said. "I'm a huge fan of Lorraine and am flattered to have been asked to fill her shoes.

"I know there are some great guests coming up over the next few weeks and I'm looking forward to chatting to them too."

Just in case you're concerned, we can assure you that both guest presenters have the approval of Lorraine Kelly herself.

"I'm so excited for what will definitely be a trip of a lifetime and I feel very reassured to know that the show is in such safe hands while I'm away," Lorraine said.

"I'll be keeping in touch from Antarctica throughout my journey and I look forward to sharing my adventure with Lorraine viewers when I get back."

Lorraine continues on weekdays at 8.30am on ITV.
