Richard Blackwood loses out as Gemma Collins steals spotlight with Dancing on Ice rant

Actor and presenter and actor Richard Blackwood has been eliminated from Dancing On Ice after a dance-off with Saira Khan- but it was Gemma Collins whose rant stole the show.

Towie star Collins directed her anger at judge Jason Gardiner, accusing him of selling stories about her.

After skating on Sunday, she said it had been "a hell of a week" and that it had "knocked my confidence".

Picture date: Tuesday December 18, 2018 Delivering his critique, Gardiner said Collins had been channelling Anna Nicole Smith as opposed to Marilyn Monroe, which she had been aiming for, saying there was "no elegance" in her routine.

But Collins interrupted and said: "Maybe if you didn't sell stories on me I wouldn't have been so upset this week."

Meanwhile, Blackwood said he was "disappointed" to have lost his place in the competition but insisted it was "all good".

Blackwood and his professional partner Carlotta Edwards received their marching orders on Sunday night.

Judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo had to decide who to save and who to eliminate after the public vote, and opted to keep Khan on the ice.

On Twitter, the conversation revolved around Towie star Gemma Collins,  who is fast becoming a lightning rod for the wider show.
