Strictly Come Dancing bosses are reportedly struggling to sign up celebrities who have been put off by the so-called show curse.

According to reports, 21 stars have refused to take part on the next series of the BBC show.

“There is now a genuine concern that appearing on the show can negatively impact relationships," they added to The Sun.

Louise's ex Jamie is said to have told show bosses an outright no when they tried to sign him up.

© Press Association "Jamie only has negative feelings about Strictly now. There’s absolutely no way he would appear," a source added to the newspaper.

Louise Redknapp appeared to fall victim to the curse after divorcing husband of 19 years Jamie after appearing on the show.

She said during an interview on This Morning: "Doing Strictly - Ruth you know this - it does something..."

Mirror Online has contacted a Strictly Come Dancing spokesperson for comment.
