With The X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing around the corner, it can only mean one thing: the countdown for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2017 is on too!

Last year the series was a huge ratings success for ITV with millions tuning in to see Gogglebox legend Scarlett Moffatt crowned Queen of the Jungle. The audience peak for the 2016 finale reached a whopping 11.4 million – the highest since 2013.

But will the show be able to achieve the same success this year? Well, ITV has set the bar pretty high and will need to be pulling out all the stops to stand a chance. So what tricks has the broadcaster got tucked up its sleeve? Here's everything we know so far...

I'M A CELEBRITY 2017 AIR DATE: WHEN DOES IT START?

As of yet, ITV is yet to confirm the exact transmission date.

But what we do know is that the series has pretty much always started in November, so that's where we're putting our money.

I'M A CELEBRITY 2017 HOSTS: ARE ANT & DEC RETURNING?

Geordie icons Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have presented the ITV series ever since it launched 15 years ago back in 2002.

The show wouldn't be the same without them. However, fans aren't too confident that the pair will be returning this season following Ant's admission into rehab.

Reports claimed that Holly Willoughby will be replacing the host until he gets better but now it's believed Ant is making a strong recovery and will be leaving rehab in the next month. So it is possible he will be well enough for I'm A Celeb by November.

I'M A CELEBRITY 2017 CAST: WHICH CELEBRITIES WILL BE TAKING PART?

There's still a few months to go until the new series starts but ITV bosses are already in final talks with celebrities who will be entering the jungle this year.

A lot of names are currently doing the rounds on the rumour mill from soap actors to reality stars to rappers – but which of them will actually be entering the jungle this autumn?

Check out the rumoured camp mates below and see what you think.

It's reported that Love Island's Muggy Mike is currently in talks with ITV bosses to enter the jungle.

Previously, the show has faced criticism for signing up reality stars like Ferne McCann and Vicky Pattison.

But show bosses are allegedly planning to ignore the negativity following the popularity of shows such as Love Island.

A source told The Sun: "Both [Vicky and Ferne] were great but there was a feeling some of the older contestants weren't getting a chance to impress.

"But reality stars create more social media buzz and also attract younger viewers. Mike is having early talks but the fact he's even being considered shows a real change of tack."

We REALLY hope this rumour is true!

Following his huge success on Love Island, the reality show winner is currently in talks to partner up with ITV on even more projects.

Later on this month, Kem and girlfriend Amber Davies will be presenting the entertainment news on Good Morning Britain for a month that's been 100% confirmed on paper.

Once he's finished there, we hear he'll be flying Down Under for I'm A Celeb.

Reality TV queen Megan is also rumoured to be heading into the jungle.

She's previously been on Ex On the Beach, Celebrity Big Brother and TOWIE, and so will know what she's letting herself in for.

Luckily, all her filming commitments seem to be with ITV and so we're sure bosses will be able to make a stint in the jungle happen if they really want to.

CHRIS HUGHES

Love Island fans are convinced Chris could have won the show.

But despite how popular he is, the pin-up farmer lost out to pal Kem because of his rocky relationship with Olivia Attwood.

Now, it's believed Chris is being given a second chance at reality TV and has signed up for I'm A Celeb.

Could he win this time round?

DANIELLE ARMSTRONG

Danielle quit TOWIE earlier this year and fans have been waiting for her TV comeback.

It's going to be a long wait but we hear it'll be worth it as she's allegedly signed up for I'm A Celeb.

Following in the footsteps of Joey Essex and Gemma Collins, she will reportedly be entering the jungle when the series returns this November.

Hopefully, she'll last longer than The GC.

RYAN THOMAS

After watching his brother Adam have the time of his life on the show last year, it's believed Coronation Street actor Ryan is eager to have a go as well.

The star played Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles for 16 years before deciding to leave in 2016.

A source close to Ryan said he would make a great camper for the jungle: "Ryan would be superb in the jungle and there has never been a family member following a family member into the outback ever in all the series."

We'll watch this space...

She was definitely quite a character on The X Factor last year.

And apparently, her eccentric personality and loud fashion sense has caught the attention of I'm A Celeb bosses.

Reports claim that ITV has been desperate to get the rapper in the jungle – but will she say yes?

I'm A Celebrity is almost as famous for its sexed-up shower scenes as it is for Bushtucker Trials.

But which celebs have they got in mind to bring the eye candy to the show this series? Apparently Strictly's Kristina.

We hear she's keen to sign up following the success of her friend Ola Jordan on last year's series.

Will ITV give her the chance?

I'm A Celebrity 2017 returns in the autumn.
