1 in 4 Brits commits this cup of tea sin
It goes without saying that the UK is a nation of tea-lovers, with nearly a quarter of Brits starting drinking cuppas before the age of five.
New research from Gala Bingo has sought to determine the tea habits of the country, including the nation’s favourite brand, strength preferences, and how many add milk before the tea bag. The latter, if you ask us, is a brewing no-no.

The survey of more than 1,000 adults, conducted to celebrate the launch of the 2018 Gala Tea Cup, found that almost a third (31%) of Brits drink five or more cups of tea a day, with nearly one in 10 drinking tea as late as 11pm.
So which is the UK’s favourite tea brand? The number one spot goes to PG Tips with 26% of participants choosing this type, followed by Yorkshire Tea (20%) and Tetley (18%).
