London has a lot to offer this season and the window displays and decorations that are up over the festive period are no exception, as some places have gone all out to celebrate the coming of Christmas.

From the Churchill Arms pub decorated with 68,000 lights to the Borealis light display in Guildhall Yard that replicates the Northern Lights, the city has been fully decked out.

The Ivy Chelsea Garden is no different as the new winter window display has come all the way from Whoville to delight all who pass by.

The Chelsea restaurant is well-known for its creative art installations which change every season and are created in collaboration with artists and garden designers.

Last summer, the restaurant transformed the front into a greenhouse full of flowers, while in October there was a magical autumn garden adorning the front door.

Now this Christmas you may bump into the Grinch himself, as the Ivy Chelsea Garden has installed the Miracle on Mount Crumpit, a mini winter village inspired by Whoville.

The popular Dr Suess story has become a Christmas favourite, as families come together to watch the film starring Jim Carrey every year - as well as the more recent animated version.

The window display is hopefully enough to charm the Grinch and any other Christmas pessimist, as colourful lights and a mini alpine village are bound to give you that festive feeling.

That’s not all the Ivy Chelsea Garden is offering, as new seasonal desserts have been added to the menu and the restaurant has teamed up with champagne house Veuve Clicquot to offer visitors limited-edition cocktails.

There is a variety of festive cocktails to choose from, including the delicious Who Martini, a mix of Belvedere vodka, white chocolate liqueur, Bailey’s Irish cream, pistachio, chocolate and cream.

The Grinch Jooose is a spicy addition to the menu, featuring a blend of Belvedere Organic Infusions Pear & Ginger Vodka with its signature green juice, coconut and chillies.

If you’re looking for something more warming, try the Whoville hot chocolate which has Eminente Reserva Rum, coffee liqueur and rich hot chocolate in it with a toasted marshmallow on top.

For those who like their drinks non-alcoholic, the Cindy-Lou Who is a great option, with green juice, chilli, ginger, lemongrass and tonic water.

Now onto the most important part: desserts. You can get some traditional Christmas sweet treats, like warm mince pies served with hazelnut and brandy cream, and a Christmas pudding.

There is also the Snowball Fight, another dish on the winter menu with brandy ice cream, white chocolate, gingerbread and cream sauce.

The Miracle on Mount Crumpit will be on display until December 31, so you have the entire festive period to go and try to catch a glimpse of the Grinch.
