Linda Nolan has revealed she's feeling better but is still having some pain as she battles cancer.

The 61 year old was diagnosed with incurable liver cancer back in August and announced her 70 year old sister Anne was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer at the same time.

Now the singer has explained she feels "well" after finishing her chemotherapy treatment in September.

"Just this week I had a CT scan and I am well. I have neuropathic pain in my fingers and feet, and I've got no hair but I feel well."

Linda, who now lives with her 68 year old sister Denise in Blackpool, added to FEMAIL: "I get tired more quickly now than before."

With the coronavirus pandemic continuing to sweep the globe the actress has been unable to leave the house, even when restrictions were lifted.

The star, who recently admitted she's afraid of dying, continued: "I got cancer in June, I moved in with Denise and her partner Tom, and we've been filming our reality TV series, which has been we had to adhere to our rules and social distancing.

"There has been times where I've been down. But the TV show has been a nice way to spend time together."

Speaking about isolating from the outside world, she went on: "I miss going out, and I miss going to cafes and sitting down. But we're so lucky to have each other.

"I've had mental health problems in the past, and if I'm on my own for a couple days I get really low. I've had depression and I'm not surprised that people are suffering now.

"I have great help from our NHS, and I'm now getting counselling over Zoom. My GP has been brilliant I think the thing about mental health is you have to say I'm struggling."

It comes as Linda recently heartbreakingly revealed she was reminded of her sister Bernie, who passed away from breast cancer in 2013, as she looked in the mirror for the first time after loosing her hair.

Speaking to GMB anchors Kate Garraway and Ben Shepherd, Linda revealed: “The first time I looked in the mirror, when I had my head shaved, I saw Bernie looking back at me.

“It was really sad, I cried, because I saw her looking back as a sick person, which saddened me again. People have always said we look alike but I’ve seen pictures of Bernie with no hair and I thought: ‘Oh my God, we’re like twins’.

“But, wherever she is I bet she will be going: ‘Get on with it girl,’ because she was amazing. She was an inspiration to so many people.”
