The tennis champ and his wife of two years have welcomed another daughter.

The couple already share daughter Sophia, who was born in 2016.

In July this year it was announced that Kim was expecting her second baby.

News of the birth emerged just 24 hours after Andy played in a charity tennis event at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow as he took on Roger Federer.

Although, the dad-of-two joked he wouldn't mind if she grew up hating the sport.

“It would be nice so she knows what it is that you’ve done or is maybe old enough to understand what it is that you do,” he said.

“As I start to get older that might be more of a motivation to keep going and training and working hard to stay at the top.

“And I think as you start to get older, I think you want to make sure that you make the most of every event that you play. You do appreciate it more than when we’re young.”

Andy and Kim married in 2015 in Dunblane where the ace grew up.

The couple met in 2005 through tennis circles - Kim's father Nigel is a coach and former head of women's tennis at the Lawn Tennis Association.

They moved in together in 2008 and briefly split the following year before rekindling their relationship.
