A four-bedroom converted chapel in Barnet, where BBC One's Call the Midwife was filmed in 2013, is available to rent for £11,000 per week — and it really is remarkable.

Set in seven acres of beautiful landscaped grounds, this unique property is jam-packed with character. Inside, you'll find incredible 45-foot high ceilings, a cinema, steam room, gym, a beautiful orangery leading to a private courtyard patio and grand bedrooms.

The hit TV drama, featuring Miranda Hart and Jenny Agutter, saw the property used as the midwives' East London home. But, after permission was granted to transform the building into a home, filming was moved elsewhere.

Fans of the drama series will be pleased to know they can now live in the same rooms where their favourite scenes were filmed. The monthly rent might be costly, but the interiors here are certainly worth making a fuss about. There are large marble pillars, floor-to-ceiling windows, a sleek grey kitchen, spacious seating areas and bathrooms so pretty they look like they belong in a New York hotel.

Just moments from Edgware Station and Mill Hill Broadway Station, this home is right in the heart of buzzy London. You'll have everything you need right on your doorstep, including local coffee shops, and parents will be pleased to know that there are plenty of brilliant schools in the area, too.

'It was originally developed by Berkeley Homes and the owner bought it to use when he was staying in London,' Claire O'Donnell, letting agent at Foxtons, told the Daily Mail. 'However, he didn't use it as much as he thought so he has now put it up for rent.

'Even though it's very modern, the developer has kept the columns and so many of the beautiful features which means that it still has a sense of heart and warmth although it feels grand.

'The owner would prefer to rent it with the furniture and décor that is already there – the rugs, carpets and furnishings were purpose-built for this property.'

Tempted to make this house your own? This property is currently listed with Foxtons for £11,000 per week/£47,667 per month.
