Incumbent Moseveni takes early lead as Uganda vote count continues
In Ugandan elections, President Museveni has 65% of the vote with opposition candidate Bobi Wine at 27% with a third of ballots counted. Meanwhile, Wine says the military have taken over his home. In CAR, some 60,000 people have fled the country since a coalition of rebel groups launched a series of attacks there. Those rebel groups are protesting the result of last month's presidential election. Pirates in the West African region kidnapped 130 seafarers in 22 separate incidents last year. We speak to Michael Howlett of the International Maritime Bureau who authored a report on piracy.
