Ariana Grande may not have attended the Grammy Awards on Sunday evening, but she didn't let that stop her dressing up for the occasion.

The singer, who was set to perform at the music ceremony, pulled out of the show last minute, following an alleged dispute with producers and consequently did not attend the prestigious awards show.

On the evening, the 25-year-old won her first ever Grammy for Best Pop Album and you better believe she wasn't going to let her custom gown go to waste.

Taking to Instagram, the Thank u, next singer showed off her stunning Cinderella-inspired dress by Zac Posen in a series of snaps.

"When @zacposen makes u a custom gown it doesn't matter if you’re singing or not" she captioned one of the images.

The gown was indeed stunning, it's powder blue hue creating a princess-perfect moment, as a modern stapless bodice flowed into a pleated billowing train, which was so big her dog could surf on it.

Ariana just proved that even if your plans get cancelled, you shouldn't let a great outfit go to waste.
