Think beige is boring? Think again my friend.

Thanks to brands such as Khaite, Asai, Nunushka and of course Burberry, there has been a feast of milk-coloured creams, through to burn-toast browns gracing our backs all 2019-long.

We called it tea-and-toast dressing earlier this year, and it's the chicest craze to flood Instagram in 2019.

Selena Gomez tried the low-key trend when she stepped off the plane into Nice earlier today.

There for the Cannes Film Festival, where her movie The Dead Don't Die is set to premiere tomorrow, the singer looked relaxed in the airport.

The 26-year-old wore a long, oat-coloured cardigan, with a knit, cream two-piece, complete with vanilla-hued heels and taupe sunglasses.

Keeping her hair in a chic, blunt bob the 'Can't Keep My Hands To Myself' singer, could not have looked cooler.

Harling Ross of Man Repeller has been repping her ‘stick of butter’ look - the term she coined for her predominately beige outfits - for a while now, and it looks like the rest of the fashion crowd has followed, with Dutch colour-phile, Stephanie Broek paring down her typically jazzy ensembles with a trench during London Fashion Week and Eva Chen, director of fashion partnerships at Instagram, looking joyful in her tonal outfit whilst in New York.

Thankfully, you can try the trend, the only trick is to wear as much beige, brown and buff as possible.
