Furious bride accuses her BFF of STEALING her wedding venue! 06/02/2018 Claire Murrihy

© Provided by Associated News When it comes to weddings, every bride wants hers to be memorable and will spend many an hour planning it so it is unique to her and her fiancé.

Which is probably why one aggrieved bride-to-be took to Mumsnet recently to vent her frustration that her best friend had arranged to get married at the same venue as her – five weeks earlier.

The annoyed woman explained that she had hired a large house with an indoor pool for a weekend wedding in June while her friend had been due to marry in a church later in September.

The user, known as daftpink, asked fellow users if she was being unreasonable, writing: ‘Basically, now her wedding will be almost the same as mine but as hers is first, I’m the one that will look like I copied her!

‘AIBU to be absolutely livid that she’s done this to me?’

One person said that ‘copying is a playground concept’ while another said that each wedding would be unique because of the people involved.

However, another commented that it was a ‘horrible thing to do’ and another described it as ‘very poor form.’

There were others though who said that the best course of action was just to shake it off and use the five weeks before her own wedding to correct any mistakes the friend made at hers!
