If you listen closely, you might hear the sound of a French sommelier weeping. Joe Jonas is set to marry Game of Thrones’ star Sophie Turner later this summer in France, a country renowned for its incredible wine, food... and lack of Coors Light beer. Which presents an issue for the happy couple.

In an interview on the Zach Sang Show, Jonas revealed that they were planning to serve “a lot” of the American beer at the wedding. He said, “I mean, we are getting married in France, so a lot of Coors Light is necessary.”

“Not hard, really, to get that, but we needed to make sure that was going to happen,” he explained.

He was joined by his brothers Kevin and Nick for the interview. Nick, of course, married Priyanka Chopra in a glamorous ceremony at the end of last year. It turns out that Joe’s beer stipulation is one inspired by Nick and Priyanka's wedding, as once the beer dried up, guests turned to heavy liquor and the night took a turn.

Nick said, “We learned a lesson from my wedding. Our friends drink a lot of beer, specifically, and we ran out of beer at the wedding, at my wedding, which was a big issue.”

Kevin elaborated, “It starts to get very dark very fast with hard alcohol instead. It’s just like ‘Oh, we’re doing this now? Okay.’”

While the brothers didn’t elaborate on exactly what 'darkness' the Chopra-Jonas wedding reception produced, the Turner-Jonas edition is set to be a little 'lighter' (sorry).

Speaking to Harper's Bazaar, Turner also revealed that she and Jonas were planning to “keep [the wedding] as low-key as possible” - so don't expect anything on the scale of Nick and Priyanka’s headline-grabbing wedding extravaganza.

Keeping the Coors Light flowing wasn’t the only thing Joe learned from his brothers’ weddings, as he explained that he learned “what not to do” after watching them go through it.

As he told The Late Late Show, “[Nick and Kevin’s weddings] were both absolutely beautiful. All 18 of Nick's were amazing. Kevin had a snowstorm during his wedding, three-and-a-half feet of snow, so maybe don't get married in December. And for Nick, there was quite a few, but I would say, stick to one wedding. One and done.”
