The ninth-in-line to the throne married Jack Brooksbank on October 12 in a ceremony which took place in St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle - a location that has great significance to the royal family.

Eugenie wore a white gown, she was walked down the aisle by her father, Prince Andrew, and she had a clan of adorable bridesmaids and pageboys to accompany her.

But that's where the tradition stopped. Because it turns out Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank had something of an unconventional wedding night.

While most couples choose to spend some alone time just after their nuptials, it seems Eugenie and Jack did the complete opposite, opting to spend the night with their families.

'The Sunday after the wedding, I said to Eugenie and Jack: "Do you want to stay somewhere special?" No. They wanted to stay at Royal Lodge,' Sarah said.

'So the night before their honeymoon, the whole family were eating pizza together in the kitchen.'

Sarah Ferguson also revealed in the interview how emotional she felt at watching her daughter get married. 'I always went to weddings and thought: "Why is the mother-of-the-bride crying?'," the Duke of York's former wife told the Daily Mail.

'But I completely understand why now. It’s because it’s so amazing to think your daughter is now grown up, leaving home and starting her own life,' she said.
