Royal family fans around the world are dying to see what Meghan Markle will wear for her wedding to Prince Harry - and we may have just been given a sneak preview.

A designer who was sent an official request from the palace has released three sketches of gowns she could see Meghan walking down the aisle in.

It comes after the announcement that Harry and Meghan will tie the knot at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19.

These sketches are the work of Israeli designer, Inbal Dror, who is known to be a fan of revealing necklines and racy silhouettes.

It also has buttons running down the back and long sleeves with eccentric cuffs.

From the front, the dress featured a plunging neckline with lace detailing and a belted waist.

The long-sleeved dress has lots of lace detailing in a flattering V-neckline and across the body of the gown, that is fitted to the waist then flared down to the ground.

Inbal signed the designs: "For Meghan Markle, with love, Inbal Dror".

The designer was asked by the Royal family to create some sketches, according to the Jerusalem Post.

Her designs typically sell for between $8,000 and $10,000, but this dress will presumably be worth a lot more.

Last year, Inbal told Elle magazine what she thinks makes her dresses so unique.

She said: "I think the bold style. It’s sexy, and I love to highlight a woman’s form."

She added: "I loved the feeling it gave me seeing a bride’s face when she wore the most special dress of her life. It’s an honour and a thrill to design such an important dress."

The designer's outfits are made specially for the intended wearer and based on 30 different measurements.

Despite the designs being submitted, it's not certain who will create Meghan's dress yet.

Her best friend is Canadian fashion stylist Jessica Mulroney, and Alexander McQueen, who designed Kate Middleton's wedding gown, is also a favourite to be the chosen designer.

Erdem Moralioglu is on the list too, with odds of 10/3 with bookmaker Betfair.

Meghan has worn one of her dresses - a £1,200 floral maxi dress - before when she attended the wedding of Prince Harry's friend Tom Inskip.
