A waterfront property on Anglesey with its own beach has gone up for sale for £1.25 million. Sea Garth occupies a stunning waterfront position on Red Wharf Bay.

The five bedroom detached house comes with around 100 yards of beach and water frontage and enjoys breathtaking uninterrupted sea views towards the Llanddona headland. To the side of the stone house is an extensive lawned garden which overlooks the coast, providing an idyllic outdoor entertaining space for whoever can match the asking price.

The unique location is clearly the main selling point, but the house itself is brimming with character and potential. The 3,600 square foot space still boasts a number of period features but some areas would benefit from an update.

The kitchen in particular could do with a top to bottom refurb. As things stand, it is not befitting of a property of this price but it has the potential to become a standout area of the house with the oil fired Aga a good starting point to work around.

The same could be said of the open plan living room but to a lesser extent. The room has a unique pattern tiled marble floor and large brick fireplace which provide plenty of character and could be built upon should the new owners decide to update the area.

The property was reduced on Rightmove on July 27. Based on a 10% deposit and a 25 year mortgage, monthly repayments would stand at around £5,219. You can visit the property's Rightmove profile here.

Last year most property sales on Anglesey involved detached properties which sold for on average £365,590. Terraced properties sold for an average price of £148,662, while semi-detached properties fetched £196,725.
