France’s Macron aiming to win over youth voters with Brut interview
French President Emmanuel Macron gave an interview to online media outlet Brut in order to speak to young French, and seek to turn the page on difficult few weeks, after the government agreed to rewrite a controversial security law that would have criminalized filming the police. This comes as tens of thousands demonstrated against the law intensified when a video showing police beating a black music producer Michel Zecler shocked the nation and its authorities.
