Labour pledges to scrap primary SATs if elected

Jeremy Corbyn has pledged that Labour would scrap formal tests in primary schools in England, known as SATs. The Labour leader told the annual conference of the National Education Union today that his party will end the “regime of extreme pressure testing” if it wins power.
