US rover aims to collect soil samples from Red Planet

The United States is set to launch its next-generation Mars rover. Named Perseverance, it is designed to take 43 samples from Martian soil and return them the Earth, marking the first time samples will be returned from another planet. The mission will also test out equipment that could be used in a future mission when humans will be sent to the planet, after 2030.
