Instagram could FINALLY be bringing back this much-loved feature

But two years later, it appears that Instagram may finally be returning to the much-loved chronological set-up.

One user, called , has uploaded a video to his Story, showing his feed in chronological order.

A caption alongside the video said: “Instagram back to chronological order. I wonder if this is good or bad news.”

The video itself shows Harding scrolling through his feed, with the newest post (seven minutes old) at the top, and the oldest post (one hour old) at the bottom.

While this could just be a coincidence, Harding followed-up the video with a post claiming he is one of the first users in a beta test of the chronological feed.

It is unclear when, or if, Instagram plans to roll out the update to all users.

Mirror Online has contacted Instagram for comment.
